People Intelligent Leadership

  • Organisations have been realising their network nature more and more, where HR and the labor market are becoming the "Internet of Beings" with ongoing "digital" feedback between employees / candidates, and this new landscape slowly but surely impacts all HR processes.
  • Online and mobile HR apps create data flows that will dramatically change the fundamentals of HR work, from such administrative matters as proofs of absence of employees in legal disputes to more sophisticated things such as talent identification, and these data will confront the subjectivity of managerial decisions with hard facts.
  • In the transition from predictive modelling to application of continuous AI in HR, it will be even more important for HR to improve in the „art  of working with people", as even though talent and low potential will be „digitally“ identified, the need for a personal feedback and discussion will still remain strong, and maybe even stronger in the age of social media, digital „likes“ and digital feedback.
  • The speech will demonstrate the practical use of and experience with several modern technologies applied in diverse HR areas.

Can new technologies and artificial intelligence help with Talent Management?

  • Why artificial intelligence and why now? What trends will influence HR functions and what will be the impact on us employees?
  • Should we be concerned or looking forward to it? Will softbots replace us at work or will they help us? This does not concern us! Or does it?
  • The presentation will focus on trends and technologies with an aim to uncover the veil of mystery surrounding these topics. Practical examples will follow.

Managing mobile & remote employees - techniques and recommendations for success

In the age when the future of jobs is changing and companies debate workplace design, "back to the office" ideas or virtual offices, one thing is clear - managing people remotely is already a very common aspect of life in multinational corporations. Most managers find managing remote employees much more difficult than managing their local team. Based on our internal Lenovo research and questionnaires, interviews with managers whose teams identify them as excellent remote managers and extensive training experience on remote management, this presentation will offer you key practical techniques and recommendations on making remote management a greater success (and for being a better remote manager).

  • Research we´ve done into managing remote teams and being remotely managed: some surprising findings.
  • Tools and techniques from most effective and successful remote managers (as chosen by their team members and colleagues).
  • Practical aspects: remotely running performance reviews, developing remote team members, driving their engagement
  • Program for involving remotely-managed employees into the life of the local site - leads to increased satisfaction and engagement.

ANDREJ ZAŤKO │ Chairman of the Board of Directors, Poštová banka

Change is about a clear vision, ability to prevail, frequent misunderstandings and enjoying success

The CEO of Poštová banka will have an open and practical speech on the challenges of the changes that Poštová banka has gone through over the last two years. Those changes involved both the products and the logo as well as the corporate culture. He will both identify the mistakes made by the management team in managing the change, as well as focus on the principles and procedures that can work. We will not debate the management textbook rules, instead we will take a look together at real corporate life, at what prevents us from changing at the managers´ egos, at dead ends in decision making and at easy principles practice itself will teach us.

Probably everybody knows that change is the only certainly in life, either corporate or private, however, just a few of us are able to acknowledge the burden of its difficulty and the worries of failing to cope with it. However, who is honest with themselves and who has a clear vision has a good chance of experiencing the joy of success.
