Top-down approach to innovation starts being dangerous

When a Group develops a strategy expecting to implement it differently, the outcome will be a so-called air sandwich, i.e. a bun filled with air and no meat. This leads to the fact that even great strategies on paper fall apart when they face reality. Expanding the number of people contributing to strategy development is a good way to avoid the problem. Are our managements ready to do it?
