Managing Director, HR Norge

 

Has led the Norwegian HR association through merger, turnaround and growth and turned it into the third biggest of its kind in Europe. He is a Naval Academy Graduate, holds an MBA, has studied labour law and taken the Senior Executive Program at LBS. His main areas of interest are working life issues, strategy and people management. Before joining HR Norge held various positions within HR, logistics, communications and finance within the Norwegian Armed Forces and acted as a chief negotiator at the Norwegian Employers association. Recently he had European project lead on the leading HR Competency study in the world, HRCS, on behalf of the European HR association EAPM.

IVANA MOLNÁROVÁ

 

CEO, Profesia

 

Ivana graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Comenius University in Bratislava. Her first and current employer is Profesia.sk, an online job search portal. She started working as an agent and has been the CEO since 2010.

During her office the portal was bought from the British DMGT media group by the Finnish competitor Alma Media in 2012. She’s the chair of the administration board of OSF.

Ivana enjoys running and she has run several half-marathons. She’s got two children.

Nima Motazed is a Senior Executive with 25+ years of experience in financial industry focused on efficiently and effectiveness of operations, transformation, restructuring, revitalizaion and merger of major European groups.

Nima joined Swiss Re as Managing Director of Swiss Re Services (Slovakia) in January 2015. His major focus in this role is on further development of Swiss Re Bratislava as Center of Excellence and in delivering highest operational effectiveness to businesses and clients of Swiss Re.

Prior to that, he served as COO and Member of the Management Board of NLB Banking Group in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Nima brings a strong track record of proven leadership and profound experience with strategic planning, procurement, IT and Sales for major European financial institutions among them, Bank Austria (Unicredit Austria) and Erste Bank Group. He served as a Managing Director/Head of EMEA Expense Management for Citigroup in London. Additionally he was a Managing Director and Member of Divisional Management Board/Global Head of Organization and Services for West LB, Germany.

Nima attended the University of Vienna where he studied Physics & Astronomy. He received his professional diploma from the Austrian Academy of Organization. He also has completed advanced programs in executive leadership through the Hernstein Institude for Management & Leadership, London Business School, INSEAD and University of California, Berkley.

MARIÁN VALENTOVIČ

 

General Director of the Centre for Labor, Social Affairs and Family Slovak republic

 

Marián graduated from the Faculty of Social and Enonomic Relations of the Trenčín University of A. Dubček in Trenčín, specialisation of Public Administration. He was admitted to his MBA degree in Vienna, where he graduated from the Executive Sales Management Programme: Sales Manager Akademie. He also completed the studies of project management at IMSR in Mumbai, India, and was admitted to the EMBA degree at the University of Northeast Virginia, USA.

In 2001 - 2004 Marián worked as a sales agent for Primatel s.r.o. and as a sales representative for MAR Travel Agency, since 2004 as an assistant to the Sales Director of Homecredit Slovakia, a.s. and in 2005 - 2007 he held the position of the Ajob.sk Division Director at MAR Group, s.r.o. In 2007 - 2008 he held the office of Director and Head of Civil Service Office at the Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family in Piešťany. From 2010 to 2011 he was a Deputy Director General of the Division of Economy, the Deputy Director General of the Centre of Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Republic From 2011 to 2012 he worked at the Slovak Health Care University in Bratislava as the bursar. Since April 2012 he has been in the office of Director General and Secretary General of the Civil Service Office at the Centre for Labour, Social Affairs and Family of the Slovak Rebublic in Bratislava.


 

   
   

PETER DOSEDLA

Already during his university studies of management and foreign trade Peter worked as an interpreter, translator and consultant to foreign businesses. After graduating from university he worked as the executive manager of a foreign imports company managing a team of over 300 people. For over 15 years he’s been involved in HR development, personnel and manufacturing outsourcing. He specializes in lean production and manufacturing process optimization. He is the CEO of EXPRESS PEOPLE Group responsible for business development in the CEE Region. He’s a member of HR Alliance Presidium, a representative of Slovak Electric and Electronic Industry Association and HRcomm, which is an association for HR management and development. He is a popular speaker and commentator giving regular statements for the media and frequenting global events such as the Hannover Messe and the European Automotive Leaders Summit. He actively shapes opinions concerning workforce mobility and the global labor market. Peter is a passionate traveler and his co-workers consider him a visionary and a great leader.

TOMÁŠ VOLEK

Tomas has 20+ years of experience in IT working across Western and Eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey, India. From 1995 to 2002 Tomas was involved in several large SAP System Integration projects across different industries, technological environments and functional areas. From 2003 to 2008 he was the SAP Platform Lead for  delivery Centers in Eastern Europe. From 2009 to 2012 responsible for Application Outsourcing Sales Support and Solution Configuration for Czech, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.

KATARÍNA MATULNÍKOVÁ

 

Senior Counsel, Allen & Overy

 

Katarína works as Counsel in the Slovak branch of the multinational law firm Allen & Overy and is the head of the labor law department. Katarína advises employers on various labor law issues on regular basis, both in dispute and non-dispute matters. She has extensive experience in labor law restructuring, sending employees abroad, staff transfers and employment termination (including mass layoffs). She is also experienced in designing/modification of internal regulations (labor rules), employment and management contracts. She provides advice also on incentive programs and employee benefits, labor law aspects of acquisitions and personal data protection. Katarína is a member of the AmCham’s Board for Labor and Social Affairs. She hosts regular seminars for clients and speaks at conferences covering labor law topics.


 

   
   

MAREK BOBÁK

 

HR&HSE Director, Stredoslovenská energetika - Distribúcia

 

Marek manages HR at  Stredoslovenská energetika - Distribúcia, a.s. and is also in charge of OHS and the Environment. He is especially keen on managing performance, the topics of motivation and linking HR with business. He started his professional career with Slovak Telekom as the Key Account Manager and continued at the Wholesale Director post, where he was in charge of data services sales to domestic and international telecom operators. 2006 marked an important milestone in his life, when he made a transition from managing business to HR and co-founded the Slovak and Czech branch of Neumann International. He went on to develop his career with Poštová banka, where he worked as the HR Division Director.

Marek spends his leisure time with his family, and his hobbies also include architecture, the town of Banská Štiavnica and golf.

Branislav is a member of the executive board at Penta Investments. Next to HR he’s responsible for the back office management, designing performance management processes, remuneration and selection of top managements in companies in Penta’s portfolio. Maxim is the Head of Talent Development EMEA for Lenovo. He specializes in development of current management, senior management, and pre-executive team and creating the future management pipeline. Maxim is Canadian. He moved to the Czech Republic sixteen years ago and worked as a management trainer, teambuilding instructor and management coach. Eight years ago he moved to Slovakia to manage training and talent development for Lenovo in EMEA. He has trained in Europe, Asia, Latin and North America and lectured on management skills, developing future managers and engaging employees at universities and at HR conferences in Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Spain, UK and Belgium. JÁN ŠAULIČ

 

Managing Director CZ&SK, Red Bull

 

Ján Šaulič. His name stands for energy. Currently he is completely in charge of the operation of the Red Bull brand. He’s the general manager for two countries, Czech Republic and Slovakia. On top of being in charge of the Czech and Slovak team, he is also actively involved in sales and building of a strong brand. He is one of the company’s founders in our country. His heart started to beat for Red Bull back in 1998 when he became KAM and later brand manager for Red Bull (back then under the distribution company Seagram Slovakia). Adrenaline in his blood started pumping in 2000 when he founded Red Bull Slovensko s.r.o. He gained experience working in positions of Country Manager for SK and Business Manager for CZ/SK. He graduated from the Economic University in Bratislava. Today he manages one of the most popular marketing brands. He has a family with 2 children to manage on top of that.


 

   

MILAN PECH


CEO, AG Foods

 

Milan started his professional career 25 years ago during his international business studies at the Economic University in Prague. Initially, as a business representative and later as a commercial manager he co-founded and developed the ALBI “student” company during its initial years of operation. Since 2000 he led the Czech branch of the Dutch family food business FARM FRITES. Later he gained experience leading international teams. In the position of Area Director he was responsible also for Slovak, Bulgarian and Rumanian branches. He applied his experience and skills in top managerial positions at NOWACO (now BIDFOOD) and JOHANN Kotányi. He was involved mainly in change and crisis management. He believes that change of mindset is the biggest challenge for each team leader. He considers the peak of his career the position of general manager at AG FOODS GROUP. Together with the new owners he wants to build a modern international food company with a leading position in CEE markets. His management style and approach has been influenced by the philosophy of S. Covey and the corporate culture and open communication he experienced in the Dutch family business.

ANDREJ ZAŤKO


Chairman of the Board of Directors, Poštová banka

 

Andrej is the Chairman of the Board of Directors at Poštová banka. He’s worked in the banking and financial sector for nearly 20 years. He launched his career in the field of mutual funds at J&T Asset Management, správcovská spol., a.s., where he was involved in funds management. In 2006 he started to work for J&T Banka, a.s., branch of a foreign bank. As a private banker and later director of Private banking he developed it from scratch. In April 2011 Andrej became a member of the board of J&T Banka, a.s. in the Czech Republic and at the same time he managed the Commercial Division for Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Since 2009 he managed the Commercial Division in the Slovak branch of J&T Banka and he was in charge of the bank’s overall business strategy and marketing in the Slovak market. In November 2012 he became manager of the organizational unit of J&T Banka in Slovakia and stayed in office for 3 years. Since August 2015 he’s been the Chair of the Board of Directors at Poštová banka, one of the five biggest banks in our market, counting over 1,500 sales points, which makes it the best available bank in Slovakia. Andrej’s leisure activities include arts and culture. He likes theatre, ballet and the philharmonics. He also likes hiking and spending time with his family.
